accommodation

Leysin

There is a good range of accommodation available in Leysin.  We tend to use the smaller hotels where there is always a friendly welcome and personal service.  Many of our groups have stayed at Les Orchidées, where Brigitte and Eddy Givel understand about enjoying the mountains, as they are both ski instructors.

Once your booking is confirmed, we will send you exact accommodation information.  If you want a private guiding arrangement we can help make a reservation, or you can book yourself via the contacts provided by the Leysin Office du Tourism or ALP'3000 (links below).

Away from Leysin

When a trip takes us away from Leysin and we spend nights in the valley we use typical simple mountain village hotels.

In the mountains

Many of the trip programmes include nights in mountain huts.  Some huts are large and busy (e.g. on the ascent of Mont Blanc or the Matterhorn) while others are simple and quiet.  During the busy part of the summer most huts provide a restaurant service, but sometimes we use huts when they are 'ungaurded'.  Whether quiet or crowded every hut has its own special character and allows us to enjoy the best of the high mountains.
